Welcome to Wisteria B&B

A tranquil suburban Munich bed & breakfast close to nature

The B&B

I would love to welcome you to my bed & breakfast, also my home in the Munich suburb of Forstenried.

An abode where my favorite flowering vine, the Wisteria, adorns a wooden wall more than 10m long across the garden boundary. When in bloom in late-Spring, the garden is perfumed by its sweet fragrance. Even when the flowers are gone, the lush leaves of the vine or its strong bare stems in winter, remind observers of the forthcoming spring when the blooms will take over the wooden wall again and transform it into lilac heaven!

Beauty is not only found in my garden but also in my home where I have turned two rooms into comfortable, tranquil oases for visitors to Munich. If you wish to combine Munich city sightseeing with stepping into the Bavarian countryside during your vacation, all without changing accommodations, then this is the ideal place for you to stay. Whether you choose to walk your feet off visiting Munich’s beautiful sights or to recharge your batteries by enjoying the surrounding nature, Wisteria B&B provides you the base from which to do this.

I look forward to hosting you.

Location

At Wisteria B&B, you have access to the best of both worlds. City and nature! A quick bus ride (or drive to the metro station) and 16-minute journey on the metro takes you into the city center. If traveling by car (recommended), a relaxing drive on the A95 highway brings you to the best that Southern Bavaria has to offer.

The B&B is located within walking distance of fields and the Forstenrieder Park (2-4 minutes walk), both of which have numerous trails letting you reconnect with nature. The Forstenrieder Park is an almost 20 sq km fenced forest area where you can observe native wild animals in their natural habitat. With a bit of luck and the right timing, you may see wild boars, deer, rabbits, foxes and badgers. The park is open to all and is free to use as a recreation area.
